2. Purpose
These Terms govern access to and use of the RECRU platform, a recruiting process automation software aimed at businesses (B2B). By accessing or using RECRU, you accept these terms in full.
3. Registration and access
- Access to the platform requires prior registration and acceptance of these terms.
- You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential.
- You must provide truthful, up-to-date and complete information.
4. Permitted use
You agree to use the platform exclusively to:
- Manage and automate your company's recruiting processes
- Generate documents, reports and communications related to hiring
The following is prohibited:
- Using the platform for illegal or unauthorised purposes
- Attempting to access other users' systems, accounts or data
- Reverse engineering, decompiling or modifying the software
- Reselling or sublicensing access to the platform without authorisation
5. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the platform, its design, code, content and brand belong to RECRU. Use of the platform does not imply the transfer of any intellectual property right.
The data you enter into the platform remains your property. RECRU only processes it in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the service agreement.
6. Service availability
RECRU strives to keep the platform available 24/7, but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance may take place and will be communicated with reasonable notice.
7. Limitation of liability
- RECRU shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
- RECRU's total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client over the last 12 months.
- RECRU is not responsible for hiring decisions made by the client based on information managed through the platform.
8. Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. The client acts as the data controller for candidate data entered into the platform. Before active use of the platform begins, the parties shall sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) under Article 28 of the GDPR.
9. Term and termination
- The agreement remains in force for as long as the subscription is active.
- Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' notice.
- RECRU may suspend or cancel access in the event of a breach of these terms.
- Upon termination, your data will be available for export for 30 days.
10. Changes
RECRU may amend these terms by notifying users at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the platform after notification implies acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to the rights the GDPR may grant the user.
